BEAUTIFUL ENVIRONMENT

The Facility is set in a beautiful garden environment both in and out -of -doors. As you enter the building, you'll find an inviting array of plants, park benches, and the sounds of nature as you stroll through spacious, bright hallways and tastefully decorated and sunny, large rooms for the elders. A large new multi-purpose activity room including kitchenette and horticulture area were recent additions to the building along with four large, new rooms for our elders. A physical therapy room, new offices, and a children's play room are also recent additions through the completed building and remodeling project. The beautiful multi-purpose room is decorated as a garden setting with an abundance of trees and plants, an aviary, floor to ceiling windows looking out over the patios, beautiful landscaping and garden planters.

Our hallways are divided into neighborhoods, each named by our elders and the staff members who work in these neighborhoods. The hallway to the north is named "Shady Lane" and to the east, "Pleasant View". The same staff members are assigned to each neighborhood to provide consistency of care and closer relationships between our elders and staff. Gathering rooms have been provided for the elders in each neighborhood and have been beautifully decorated by their staff. Shady Lane's gathering room is "The Liberty Room" and Pleasant View's gathering room is "The Garden Room". Each neighborhood also has an attractive dining room for their elders who need assistance in dining.

The rooms for our resident elders are spacious, attractively decorated, bright, clean, and very comfortable. Our elders are encouraged to bring favorite pieces of furniture and decorative items from their home to personalize the rooms to their own taste and preferences. Generous bathroom facilities and closet space are provided. There is plenty of room for leisure supplies, television, shelves for knick- knacks, collections, and photos, and more.

You'll be impressed by the cleanliness throughout the facility. Manilla Manor has always been known for being odor-free and for its cleanliness.

FACILITY ATMOSPHERE. . .RESPECTFUL, CARING, PURPOSEFUL, LIVELY

The Manilla Manor has made it a priority to provide an atmosphere of warmth, spontaneity and fun as well as one of purpose, respectfulness and caring. Daily happening take on a new meaning when viewed through this type of positive approach to living. The combined efforts of the Manilla Manor Board of Directors, whose mission it has always been to make the concerns of our residents the priority, our small town values, the work ethics and dedication of our staff, and our community volunteers, all play an important role in achieving this goal. Companionship can be found on many levels: Family and friends with elders, staff and elders, resident to resident relationships, children of all ages come to visit and volunteer on a regular basis, community friends and volunteers. The relationship between our staff and our elders is warm and caring, sharing fun times and helping to get through the more difficult times . . .we are family. Pets are available for them to love and care for if they choose. Manilla Manor elders know they are loved and respected and have continued purpose in their lives.
